This is all true. However, I just got back from my yearly rhizotomy, one of many procedures I undergo each year to try and lessen the pain I live with daily.

Most motorcycle racing, road and offroad and even competitions like Trials, are the only place where the rider can really be seen making the machine do what they want. Even open top race cars cocoon the driver for safety and rightly so. You can see a racer man handling the bike, forcing more from it than you'll ever…
There is no better racing to watch than Moto GP or WSBK. Two wheeled racing in general far surpasses anything on four. The problem is that unless you ride, you can't relate to it. Therefore your ability to become a fan is limited.
When I was still in my 20s, I used to race bikes before I got old and went back to racing cars. My wife and I had been together for a while when I decided to sell the bikes and picked up (your favorite) a 944 to run in Spec. Let me tell you something. I’ve worked for two different dealerships, and I’ve worked in sales operations at a corporate level for a major automaker. If I found out that a dealer wasn’t allowing test drives on a car that cost the same as a base 3 Series, I would be absolutely livid.
Innovate?! Nah, let’s make an auto with 18 gears!
You never know with macanamera. He inspires confidence in people. For example: I once heard that some guy went to all the trouble of importing a Nissan Skyline and then, while the ink was still drying on the paperwork, he let macanamera drive it after only knowing him for an hour.
Great question. I believe “Fuck the free market” is the answer.
Keep in mind that CAFE fuel economy is not the same thing as real world fuel economy or even what the EPA sticker says. A car that meets the 54MPH CAFE standard would have a sticker that says 39MPG.
Good thing there’s no air bag behind those buttons.
I’m a simple man, with a simple mind and simple needs.
As long as you still let Doug and Torch do their respective things, then the rest of this is nothing but good news!
