Great, and just like the Carmax warranties, this is now out in the open and about to be ruined for everyone.

No no dude, I know what you mean, it's all good. The other day I was in the parking lot at work and there was a guy in his brand new Tesla Model S, idling it in his spot for like 10 minutes trying to achieve working steam pressure on his steam engine so he could pull away. I was like, this guy's a fucking idiot, how…
The thing isn't even built yet and we already have to deal with the "Corvette is faster and cheaper" crowd. Goddammit.
The Supra was always expensive, I wouldn't expect this one to come in under $65,000. The last Supra on sale in America went for ~$40,000 msrp in 1998, or $59,000 in today's values. Leaving out the hybrid bit, its already above a base vette.
It had a Formula One engine and it gets no love at all. Sad.
For all the fuss over the S70/2, on paper it basically resembles two S50B30 engines joined at the crank. The bore and stroke are similar but the S70/2 has higher compression and probably other unique design features to get incrementally more power.
I hate it when people think employers don't have a right to not associate with people who commit crimes.
You're aware I was making a sarcastic joke, right? This is an F1 engine designed by the top BMW engineers. I'm sure they had the exhaust figured out.
This is really cool, but all it really does is make me want an orange E39 5-series Touring.
The real question is ... if someone wears this into a bar can i punch him and turn him into the stay-puff marshmallow man?
There's a tangible cultural dimension that needs to be mentioned here: GM and its suppliers, affiliates, etc. can be a rowdy bunch, and taken together in their entirety, they leak worse than trying to fill a whiffle ball with a garden hose. It's unseemly, but but it also tends to keep things from going too very…
They do have a nice singing voice, and when you are in the cabin and the intake tube opens it is amazing.
I heard it revving from park, and I heard it drive away. I was still underwhelmed, but I didn't hear it drive away at full clip or anything. It kind of reminded me of mid '00s Mercedes V8s (non-AMG), which again isn't a bad thing, just sort of reserved for a car that touts its performance in a more sporting manner.
This happens all the time with suppliers and engineering firms. It's very easy to get lulled into a false sense of security, thinking your product is "over-designed" so one or two areas where it's non-conforming are "probably OK." Then there's the "these conditions never really happen 'in the field'" denial. Then…
MOM'S LEFTOVER SLOPPY JOES NEVER SOUNDED LIKE THAT.
