1998 Supra TT MSRP was $40,500. Inflation-adjusted that's $59,200. Sorry :(

Oooo I think you may be right!!
Having used a GoPro and thus knowing that (and using it to my advantage lol), it's still insane how fast this run was.
That's what she said?
My goodness. I thought the video was played at like 1.5x speed. But then I looked at the time, and it matched the duration of the video... 35 seconds. Maybe the wide-angle made it look unrealistically fast?
i got pulled over going 85 in a 70 on US-23 about 5 miles south of Ann Arbor. I was borrowing a friend's car and couldn't find the insurance and registration. No ticket, and hardly even a warning. MI is definitely very relaxed about speeding on freeways. I love it.
Not so negative, just saying that for most people, having a separate gauge can be redundant if they use normal methods to fill the tires.
I am not using my DD at the race track all the time. A couple PSI will not make a difference. I have squishy tires and eyes, and nerves in my hands and arms, it's pretty easy to tell when it's time to add some air. I don't overinflate, but if I need to let air out, I use anything pointy, like a key. And yes, I trust…
Those are aggravatingly slow for my tastes though. I'd rather pay $0.50 and be done in 2 minutes. I have to stop at the gas station regularly anyway.

They'll only break if you have a good impact wrench :P
Meh, I don't usually have trouble. Sometimes you can get them to fit better than a normal wrench. Just gotta keep wiggling and tightening them. That said, I always go for the proper wrench first, only use adjustable when I'm extra lazy or don't have a big wrench I need (usually 20+mm, those guys are expensive).
But then you'd need a compressor to actually fix it, which is much more expensive. And considering most compressors have a gauge, or you can add a gauge to one, then having a standalone tire pressure gauge becomes a little redundant. And if you're like most people, you won't buy a compressor, you'll go to the gas…
dingdingding we has a winner
Seriously, most of the justification given for this car (for the purpose of getting sponsorship) was that it was a much more efficient way to build cars, they wanted to be the trailblazers of the next-gen endurance cars, etc. When they're successful, and others are copying their design (regardless of Bowlby's…
McLaren F1 was not built to have the highest top speed. It was built to be the ultimate driver's car, the record-breaking top speed was just a nice side-effect that the media chose to focus on.
I'm glad you had a good experience from being in a union. I am not anti-union, anti-corporate, mainly just anti-corruption and anti-uncooperativeness. If a company's management is bad because they don't recognize the value their labor force offers them (ahem Big 3, typically in the US) and they'd rather not look past…
