Is this even a contest?

Seriously, no internet? The best source for information and support there is for the car enthusiast? The entire hobby is infinitely easier because of the internet. Big swing and a miss.

Go Hawks!

I agree that this is right on the edge of what Tavarish is looking for, but I think this should be at least considered. This particular example has been toned town just about to sleeper status. And 5k!! Replace the alloys with plastic covered steelies, and it would achieve true sleeper status.

torque steer....torque steer....torque steer...

I had an '88 Maxima as my second car back in high school. it also had 190 HP and man did people think that box was a piece of crap, but man did she go.

My dad had a 98 Maxima from new to about 2006. That was a great car

2005 Maxima 6MT Elite Package, Burnt Orange interior, paid only $7k with only 60k miles!!

Best sleeper for under $3000. I paid $2800 for my 97 GXE 5 speed in 07, drove the shit out of it for 3 years, then sold it for $2500.

My first car was a 97 4th gen with the 5 speed (an SE I believe), it was even that pearl white like yours. Great car, motor blew up on me in college and the new england winters changed the rocker pannels into swiss cheese but I still have a soft spot for those when I see them driving around.

I LOVE YOU TAVARISH!!!!!!!!! Finally!!!!!!!!!!!! Some 4th Gen Maxima love!!!! I have a 97 Maxima GXE with a VERY rare 5 speed from factory (yes, people swap them) and it is GREAT. I love it. it's just so honest. good torquey VQ30DE although the throw is quite long, it's WAY more fun to drive then the 03 Altima that

Though I love the F type coupe, would definitely buy one of these over one of those...

1992 Nissan Maxima SE... such as my old car, from back in 01

They're called Tauntons! (has lunch money stolen)

WHAT THE FUCK NISSAN. You'll build THIS:

How is this even debatable?
