I love that you're doing this every week. And that there isn't a single page on all of Wikipedia that doesn't have some sort of heated debate on the Talk page.

Honestly, if I were a game designer, every game would have, on the front of the box, in a big, bright yellow burst, "Absolutely no music, and no cutscenes! Guaranteed!!!"
Well, with something like Flash, there's an unfortunate trend in web and software development where the tech side of things comes up with a new toy, and the editorial/design side feel compelled to use it ad nauseum. Just because it's new and shiny, doesn't mean it fits your site. But very few people stop to think…
I don't usually like to describe myself as a hero, but in this case…
"Amazing what you learn whilst looking for something else"
Or they just looked at other web sites that looked good. That's really how design trends form — somebody does something that looks nice, so other people want their stuff to look nice in a similar way.
Garamond, motherfuckers! It's an elegant motherfucking serif font, readable at small size, but solid as a headline font.
He was the 18th century's T. Herman Zweibel!
I've always thought pretty much any episode of Blackadder would be terrific on stage. Once you get past the first season, with the frequent location shots, they're basically stage plays anyway, with 4-6 characters and 2-3 sets.
I'm not, I just like facts.
The one in Crouching Tiger is my favorite because, not only is it a great fight, both women manage to act, without saying a word, just through body language during the fight. It's clear that Jen is an immense raw talent who's undisciplined, who's fighting to show off as much as to win; and Shu Lien is overmatched, and…
Yoda vs. Dooku was awful. Just a green CGI blur flying around the screen. The Darth Maul fight is the only one worth a damn in the prequels. (adjusts nerd glasses)
You do realize most of these duels took place when the French were in the process of invading and conquering most of Europe, many of whose countries cowered and waved the white flag in the face of Napoleon's army. I'm not sure too many countries would have reacted differently to the Blitzkreig than the French did,…
Yeah, I'm not sure anyone knows for sure what Burr was up to. There are three prevailing theories, the other two being that he was going to invade Mexico, or invade Washington and overthrow Jefferson. I really need to get around to an entry on Burr, he's a fascinating guy. And Gore Vidal's book, Burr is fantastic, if…
Just hypothetically…
Well, I think we group Latinos as a race more for simplicity's sake than out of a desire to advance a particular cause. Flip on Fox News, and you'll see plenty of people treating Latinos as a race who have no desire whatsoever to advance their cause.
I will admit I sidestepped that issue for the sake of writing a concise article. Every racial/ethnic category is fuzzy and open to interpretation, and there's tons of overlap between groups, etc.
Wikipedia wasn't completely clear on this point, but I got the impression he had to walk a mile in every individual hour. So he had to get by taking a long series of short naps, Kramer-style.
Well, clearly I have more than a passing interest in Fringe, although this week is the closest the Wormhole gets to fringe, unless you want to count Unethical Human Experimentation from a few months back, or possibly Failed Predictions Of the Apocalypse. Either way, if you click the "Wiki Wormhole" heading, you'll get…
It's Singen-Smythe, and the film makes an (unfunny) running joke about Bond trying to suavely trying to adapt "Bond, James Bond" to that unwieldy moniker.
