@microcars: Your argument conveniently ignores the fact that Dana built and supplied these frames to Toyota's specification. If these frames were not in compliance with Toyota's engineering specifications, they would not have been used. Ergo, regardless of who made the parts in question, this is Toyota's fault and

This looks like an interesting project. Why was I not informed earlier?

@SeanKHotay: The company may be Korean, but where the tires were actually made is what matters here.

@Elhigh: "All tires are filled with a 78/21 nitrogen/oxygen mix..." I see what you did there...

Balancing the fact that it's being offered in Hemmings with the fact that it's listed in Hemmings by a dealer (few here are unaware of my general disdain for used car salesmen) leaves me ambivalent. When you toss in the fact that resale values on used limos is generally abysmal and that some idiot has left the door

Datsun 210 2-door sedan. Deceptively slow-looking, but actually respectably quick and nimble (when equipped with the A15 and 5-speed).

I had to vote Nice Price, just because these are rarer than hens' teeth on this side of the pond, therefore a seller can price it at whatever he thinks somebody will shell out for it.

@jaymcminn: I ain't Russian to judgment here, but that's funny!

@Krochus: That's an awful big stretch.

@spuy767: But the block is not the same. Just the bore spacing.

@SmaartAasSaabr: So is the Ford FE. But it hardly counts as a "production" engine anymore.

@A strolling player: Yes, but since the current Chevy small-block shares exactly zero parts with the original, only basic dimensions and bore spacing, I have to call shenanigans on that.

@ferric oxide: I was wondering the very same thing. Maybe it got some token number of BS laps and made them up? Maybe the team had a really good bribe? Perhaps the Saucy Minx™ will tell us in her own sweet time...

@Triborough: Also, the black plates (at least the early ones) have the year of issue stamped into the upper right corner where the year sticker goes. This is readily visible on the un-stickered front plate (which is conspicuously absent on this car).

@Triborough: Good call. I knew something was up when i saw seven digits on the plate. Since the black plate on my '63 Rambler and blue plate on my '80 Datsun each have 6 digits, I was pretty sure there were shenanigans going on.

@Otto Suksumake: It is an unusual hobby, but that's not what you said.
