Oh I know that, I know plenty of families that loved it that are not Latinx / Hispanic, but I think that was just adding to the phenomenon. 

He looked awful...tired and bloated.

I found Encanto and its songs perfectly adequate but it was a much bigger deal because of the story and themes resonating a lot with Hispanic / Latino/x culture. But yea as a whole it was fine.

Angerias look was fine in the expected pageant way but hardly a slay and missed the part about mirrors.

I see Daya gets a lot of leeway with fans as far as being an unpleasant pain in the ass. Whereas queens like Silkie and Vixen got dragged. Wonder why (for the record not a fan of any of them).

To be fair I think most situations that require somebody to assume a level of leadership and where money is involved is rife for this kind of thing. For example, in my high school the graduation and proms were all planned and organized by a group of parents. The head of that group walked away with the balance of funds…

Us tennis fans are very protective so I feel you there. To me the GOAT debate at least on the women’s side boils down to Steffi Graf vs Serena (Martina Navratilova would be my #3 because of longevity and stretches of dominance). Anyway, neither here nor there.

here is where my tennis nerd-ness will come up. I worship Serena Williams and she’s my favorite player of all time but despite her high Slam count, there are plenty of other metrics where other players surpass her. And Court’s 24 is a clear example of why Slams are not all that matter.
