Blue Ivys years of toiling in obscurity and paying her dues finally paid off. 

She was definitely better but Emma Stone was a shoe-in for the win because Oscars are all about giving trophies to the young white “ingenue”, La La Land was very popular (not too many folks saw Fences in the theater) and Emma Stone was actually good in the role.

After seeing the judges love Kandy’s childish reaction to being named as the one who should go home (compare and contrast to how Olivia handled it) and the sympathetic edit / backstory it’s pretty obvious her annoying loudmouth ass is going to be in the finale. She’s just grating.

Given that Olivia has two wins its hard to argue with her staying over Denali but whatever initial charm she was throwing out there has worn off. She’s pretty generic imo.
