This is exactly why I stopped watching South Park like 7 years ago.

This is my biggest beef with basically all television. Maybe three contemporary sitcoms have ever approached money seriously.
Band PR is becoming the new "architect"/"entertainment journalist" for rom-com job (see also: "You're the Worst"—another great show anyway). It has more of an actual-job aspect to it but still is highly paid and proximal to fame and the entertainment business.
They really always criticize the reddit-friendly thing instead of the difficult, loaded thing, don't they?
I've heard of two of these and been called none of them.
Waiting for the Jam and the Horoglams reboot.
I also wondered, I almost expected it to be the theme. I too was jazzed to hear it, they used it well.
For people who have seen it: why bother shooting on film if they just color-graded it into Piss Christ?
I tend to find that the lines themselves are delivered fine, though H Jon, Claire Danes, Noel Wells, and Noah Emmerich are much more consistent.
"Ladies and Gentlemen" begins and ends with two separate songs that I never would have expected to hear on a network-style sitcom—both are great and perfect fits.
Honestly, I think this has one of the best uses of Netflix's lack of commercials & extended time. Kimmy Schmidt and Arrested Development have some awkward dead moments, BoJack makes no problems for itself but doesn't seem to concerned with what can be done without time limits. But yeah, this is really deliberate and…
I couldn't confirm it but on one of the episodes all of the camera gear on Dev's set is ARRI, plus it has the rich grain that I think of as the alexa texture. I like RED but I'm glad it's not ubiquitous—its texture is really intrusive.
Sometimes.

It looks great, allows for framings we don't see a lot on TV (and really nails the height differences between characters, like Ansari and the kids). Ponsoldt…
The song choice is so on the nose but the montage works like gangbusters anyway.
Why do we need jargon like "square"? Can't we just say "not-circles"?
Riz made an incredible EP with Heems (from Das Racist). I like him as an actor but this song is the most enjoyable thing he's done:
Sometimes at school when I had a lot of work but was really tired I combined poop & nap time. I poop, and the toilet is just comfortable enough that I can sleep but just UNcomfortable enough that I wake up when I've gotten a solid power nap in (~25 minutes)
Not only dumb, "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo" is one of Fincher's best, so double dum-dum.
I agree that the sentence is intelligible both structurally and philosophically, but it's still terrible if for no other reason than that it's a longwinded rephrasing of "We tell ourselves stories in order to live," like, the most famous line in contemporary Anglophone non-fiction. Plus, while I like "hardly trusts…
