Jeep engineers don’t care. They just did what they needed to. That may be the reason most Jeep drivers here just whip into traffic when parallel parking. Or they just don’t care from their lifted clown cars with grunty toddler grille covers.

Because you might be parking on the left or the right? Not sure how it is on the Jeep but on Teslas, you can adjust the mirrors after they’ve adjusted and they will go back to that setting [upon reverse] every time until you adjust again. So if you prefer to have them just slightly lower but still provide you siteline

In case anybody doesn’t believe you (since they have said a lot of false stuff in this article, including that hazard lights are on the touchscreen?!), here’s a 2023 Tesla Model S center console from the owner’s manual

Teslas have gotten worse since that: now you even need to use the touchscreen if you want to shift into reverse

I had an Estoril Blue M235i and I did not know that was the inspiration for the name. Thanks for posting that, learn something new every day!

Honestly the F87s seriously pop in classic Alpine White. Sunset orange, and LBB are better colors, but they don’t suit the car as well IMO. AW, and Mineral Gray show off the wider hips and subtle, yet striking, styling elements vs. just “wow look at that cool color on that 2er”. That said, mine has the m-perf

I love Hockenheim, it reminds me of freshly poured cement (it also looks like “Pastel Black” ((matte white)) by dbrand). Monaco blue is nice, but looks best on Alpina cars.

Hockenheim Silver and Monaco Blue for us!

Long Beach Blue, like Interlagos, Laguna Seca, and Estoril Blue (to name a few), and Silverstone Metallic and Imola Red, is in reference to race tracks or specific race series. In this case, the Long Beach Grand Prix

How will this not result in a class action lawsuit? People paid up to $15,000 for a feature that will likely never be implemented for their vehicle.  #fuckelon

Can confirm on the Honda Fit... Surprisingly large interior, she and I found out...

1972 International Travelall. Mine had a mattress in the enclosed cargo area. Plus: It was my first truck in HS and 4x4. Head out into the country and get to know the birds and bees.

In the shop getting a new catalytic converter.

The front seats of the 3rd gen F-bodies drop back almost completely flat.

I have a 2014 228i and it’s been pretty damn reliable. Door lock is messed up on the passenger side, and I did have to replace the transmission shortly after I bought it, but that was covered by warranty. Have nearly 100k miles on it and those were the only issues.

At every job I’ve ever worked at where we were given computers powerful enough to play games, I would just ask head of department, and the simple response would be along the lines of: “yeah thats not a problem, just it is a work laptop first so if IT says a game is creating any lapse in functionality talk it out, if

Is the new stuff on cars really Chrome? I thought it was just a shiny plastic chrome look alike.

It’s been said a million times: chrome don’t get you home.

Maybe they were looking at least efficient EVs in the most expensive electricity areas, and comparing that to a Prius in a cheap gas state.

Interesting but entirely useless.
