Stick with a newer Tahoe/Yukon or maybe even an Escalade, but DO NOT buy a Mercedes. If you like to keep a car for around 300k miles for relatively little cost in maintenance and upkeep, Owen Bellwood is not your friend. Mechanically, they’re pretty good, but there are so many “luxuries” installed on these, that they

This would be so awesome to have here in the states. I know we have an unhealthy addiction to CUVs, but we can get better, I swear!

As someone who has rented their RV in the past, I would not be fine with this. Esepcially since the step is down, and there’s a good chance there is unseen damage. These things built like shit, and the unseen damage to the seams and structure are what will fuck you. I actually specifically blocked out burning man week

My parents dailied a ‘94 Ford Probe with 3 kids... I sat in the middle with both seatbelts pulled over me and into my alternating siblings buckles. Totally safe.

Electric propulsion is the way to go. My issue with a car like this, is that when you’re running on pure EV power, it’s like driving a overburdened golf cart. If they used the gasoline engine to always charge the batteries and used powerful electric motors 100% of the time for forward motion, then I would think about

Did you at least read the opening paragraph before shooting down to comments?

It’s either ineptitude or strategic incompetence, my bet is towards the latter. This will get blasted over different types of media that may not have people who are interested in Fall Out, but wouldn’t have known about the show, and people that didn’t even know they were interested.

To be fair, the most expensive new cars is a pretty static list. That said, the Aspark Owl was knocked off by the new Rolls.

Looks like it. Not sure if there are other upfitters building them, but these guys have been at it for a bit.

While the C1 is a nearly 3 year old model, it has been an excellent TV. I wouldn’t suggest getting it if you have a lot of light in your room, but if you can dim it down, it’s a stunning television. The C2 is brighter, but it’s also $1000 more... and then there’s the C3, which is $2000 more.

To be fair, a lot of apartment complexes could be great little self contained communities, if zoning laws were amended. Hell, even “master planned” subdivisions would be improved by allowing some light commercial.

It’s also very BMW, Volkswagen, Toyota, Audi, Cadillac, Porsche, and soon to be more. It’s cheaper for the manufacturers to include the hardware in all the models, and it’ll be great for those that buy used cars, for when they’re out of warranty you’ll have no concerns with jailbreaking it.

I think you might have a typo here “Power, meanwhile, comes from 911 GT3 RS’s naturally aspirated 4.0-liter boxer four,” The 4.0 liter is a six cylinder, and it’s called the flat 6.

A little bit here and there. One issue actually worked out great for me. Someone did exactly that, and dragged the camper along a tree branch, which scratched the shit out of the gel coat. I would have probably let it go, but they didn’t mention it to me when they were dropping it off, and waited for me to noticed

My wife and I purchased a nice used 23' trailer with dual pop outs in April of 2019 for around $17k, used it a bunch until the pandemic, then we rented it out for about a year (made close to $20k doing that), then sold it in June of 2021 for $19k... While this is not the norm, ours was a great investment.

Apparently, you didn’t read past “Valley of Fire”, where I continued on to Zion, UT, and back. A total trip of 370 miles. The Bullshit you smell is your own reading comprehension.

Not sure where in Zion those lows were from. It was easily 80-90F at 11 pm. And as a Las Vegas resident, most nights this time of year are still in the high 80s or low 90s. For example, it’s expected to be a low of 90 tomorrow, with that occurring at 5 am.

It was an RV site and had 30 and 50-amp power. Mobile connector charged, but in the hottest part of the day it kicked down to 16 amps instead of 32.

Last weekend my wife and I drove from Las Vegas (115°) to Valley of Fire (119°), to Zion National Park (110°) in our 2023 Tesla Model Y Performance. While we had the AC blasting the whole time, our need to stop and charge each direction didn’t really change, and we were able to Charge at the campsite. In the V8 Jeep
