Most of those are already going to be strictly using Superduty/HD trucks, since their trailers usually weigh more than 8k pounds without animals in them, and most are 5th wheel style.
And you can’t put 1000 pounds in the trunk of a Prius... well, not safely.
Looks like he’s giving a high five to the monkey... bro
The KERS system used in F1 is kind of like that. Granted, it’s just a fly wheel and not gyroscopic, but it should impart some gyro forces on the plane it’s oriented in.
Did he accidently add a 3rd “0”? There’s no way this truck would command that high of a price. Even new it was less than this.
These are all great! I especially liked the countries one. You could essentially use some of the larger ones as Star Wars planets.
My 2003 Dodge Ram Hemi asked for 89. I pretty much always put in 87 though.
I remember my parents having a car in the late 90's that had the antenna embedded in the windshield or rear glass... Why not do that? You could ostensibly make the antenna even larger, right?
How much of this can be considered as a replacement of the weight of the engine, transmission, exhaust system, fully fueled gas tank, and all the other ancillary components that make an ICE vehicle work. My guess is those components weight around 800-1000 pounds, thus making this only weight 800-1000 pounds more than…
I drove a Gold 1994 Toyota Avalon over 240,000. The only reason I got rid of it was because it stopped going into reverse. It was probably just a cable or solenoid issue, but I wanted a new car.

Aside from hoping people take them to places that need them, I don’t know. I do know to rent a 26' truck 1 way from LA to Vegas is around $1400. If you go from Vegas to LA, it’s $274. Since they’re all independent operators, I imagine they expect people to rent the other direction regularly.
Now it’s going to be even harder to find a god damn u-haul in the LA area... everyone is either one-waying them to Phoenix and Austin, or driving them over spike strips.
This is one of the most universal truths in the universe. It is not owned by any creed, race, sex, religion, orientation, species, or dimension. All peoples and animals have the right... nay! The responsibility to recognize that “Fucking off is always an option.”
I’m just commenting on the last part of this article that incorrectly stated that the V8 was no longer an option at all. It looks like he changed it after multiple people pointed it out.
