Where are all the damn conservationists when it comes to cars going extinct. The second Gen probe is one of the better looking FWD coupes of the era. Looked a lot like a Mazda RX-7 or Nissan 240. If it had been RWD it would be the doll of drifters and cheap track day enthusiasts.

Maybe because in a front engine car the heat has nowhere to go but into the cabin... or since it’s mostly a cost saving tactic, and it was before compact FWD transmissions, it was cheaper to make rear engine cars.

I know plenty of dudes that wouldn’t know the difference between an air cooled or liquid cooled engine, let alone know which one a late ‘60's Porsches had.
