If I didn't see the pics or video this game would have given me an extremely Hunger Games-ish vibe.

That blade gon stank.

Well from a playability standpoint, they still could do more imo. I live in a tiny town in the UP of Michigan. There are no cities at all nearby, just woods and small towns for at least several hundred miles. Growing up in this area, you get used to dark nights. You'd be surprised how much light the moon can

When I first read the title I thought this was referring to how (most) games depict night. Nights just never feel dark enough. Especially in the mmorpg genre. Night is just a purple tinted daytime in just about every mmo I've played, and I've played a lot.

Needs more "History" Channel. Not once did this historical article make me want to prep for an apocalypse!

Massively(part of Joystiq) is by far the best mmorpg specific site around. I read it religiously. Anyone know a good replacement? I know there is mmorpg.com but that site is terrible. Way too many adds, and the editorials are kinda horrid. Also, the discussions quickly devolve to fanboyism.

I really don't care much for the genre in general, but the only one I've been able to stomach for any length of time is Dead Island: Epidemic. I think it's because it has more to do than other MOBA's I've played. Even that game I only put in just over 20 hours before I got bored and quit. I don't know what it is

I don't see love on that list anywhere!

Well it doesn't have to be set in 2015. It could be set 1 second after the ending of Bully if they wanted. That is the magic of creativity!

Every time I see another article about the Rift or VR in general I get a bit more scared about my future in gaming. As a person who is blind in one eye, devices that require both eyes like the Rift, do not work for me. Even activating the 3d on a 3ds, does nothing. Given that all 3d currently requires 2 eyes, I

Well, microtransactions are kind of here to stay. I learned to live with them a long time ago sadly. As for the car customization, it just isn't that kind of game. There are simulators(Forza), there are arcade racers(Burnout), and those that fall somewhere in the middle(GRID Autosport). The Crew is definitely a

Now playing

This video shows a good example of the best parts a real money player can purchase(bronze) versus the ones earned from missions. You see all those green numbers? You don't get those without actually playing the game. No amount of real cash will buy you those upgrades, so again, why complain? Buying gear kits is

And, as I told you, you CANNOT BUY THE BEST GEAR IN THE GAME WITH REAL LIFE MONEY. There is no advantage a real money player has over someone who pays nothing other than the initial purchase price. The gear you earn from missions will always trump the kits you can buy with money. This becomes especially true after

Currently, there is no possible way to buy the best gear available, and honestly if you ever need to purchase anything other than cars, you are a terrible player. Even then, if you were so inclined, you could use your starter car the entire time for every spec. Not to mention you can earn money so easy it is

I hope they look at what the folks who made the multiplayer mod for pc did, and do something accordingly. I had more fun in that than I ever did in GTAV's online multiplayer.

I look at Marvel(and comics in general), the way I used to look at wrestling when I watched it as a kid. You just don't question it. If you start to, everything falls apart.

I hope they have many species on both edges of the herbivore and carnivore spectrum. Playing as something like a yutyrannus vs playing as something tiny like a hesperonychus should be a really different experience. It would be amazing if they factored in things like weight and physics. Things like climbing a tree

Oddly enough, even though I am far from great, I am passable at the Soul Calibur series. They are the only series of fighting games I have ever been decent at, and consequently the only one I have ever taken a liking to.

It's probably because I am horrid at them, but even as a teen in the 90s I couldn't get into Street Fighter games. I can definitely appreciate the skill involved though. The reflexes and memorization of those games makes games like CoD and BF look like kid's stuff.
