Wrong on all accounts. This was a punt return, so there’s no possible chance any kind of wedge was involved. Eric Legrand’s injury came while making a tackle on a kick return, in which he dropped his head. It had nothing to do with a wedge.
Not sure I get the joke here, but maybe I just struggle to find humor in teenaged kids dying. I guess it’s also a joke about people in the military dying?
