If he helped sell the truck to the woman initially, he likely had an idea of how much she could afford. New trucks (even Nissans) can go for well over $50k. She would likely qualify for a C8 price point.

Do you have any grill recommendations that will actually make a JK Wrangler happier, so that one thinks “beep beep, it’s my jeep!” (I hope you read that in some Dora the Explora-ish voice).

We are lifting my GF’s jeep and putting 35s on it while it has a cage style roof rack and steel bumpers already..  So it’s loosing

I hear Antarctica is lovely this time of year.

I did this exact thing (almost) with a 2014 Cayman S.  Bought for $48k and a plane flight, sold it 2 years later for $44k and 24k miles more on it.

Therefore, the newer 981 Boxster at around $40,000 is going to be out of budget.

God, bronze (with a hint of gold) wheels on Green looks amazing... Guess Now I have to decide on a powdercoat color for my Weds..

I did have an injector failure out of warranty that cost me $5k though, lol.

Eh, they drop off really quick but then level out. The 718s just dropped off extra quick, I don’t think they will continue to drop as much, the GT4/Spyder have a flat 6 again, true, but that’s out of most price point for cayman/boxster buyers.

I got my 2 year old 981 Cayman S with PDK, sport exhaust, sport chrono,

Yeah they are. I had a 981S for 2 years (and sold it about 2 years ago for an s2000 and to buy a house). The 718 bargains are soooo tempting to get back into a Porsche as a weekend car, even being the 4 cylinder.

Everyone said the same thing about Flat 6 Cayman / Boxsters prices... didn’t happen when the Turbo 4's came out.

$100 per hp*

Maybe he wants to learn to drive in his $200k sports car, not some $40k one you recommended.  Everyone starts somewhere at driving/racing.  So what if he starts in a car you can’t afford?

You can actually ask for a Toyota of the same class. Nissan is Enterprise and Avis’s go to for some reason. Just ask. :)

-Currently driving a rental Toyota after they offered me a Sentra

Former 981 owner here, currently looking for a new expensive toy. I was hoping for a GT4 with PDK. Disappointed that purists ruin MY fun.

Now I have to decide if I should wait for a clubsport version, the Corvette C8 details, simply go with a 718 GTS, or say fuck it and buy a 12C.

Porsche, please take note, I don’t want

Fair enough.  I would look at it as Murray keeps it practical, Koenisegg crams as much tech as possible into it, Callum design is very pure, but Zegato influence could set it off with just a little bit of “wild”.

And I’ve been to 20 across 6 continents (Antarctica is next year). You clearly haven’t been to South East Asia anytime recently. Singapore, Thailand, and Japan all did this when I visited in Aug 2016. China also does it...

Maybe you should use Google before making shit up yourself.

All Cuba ports were diverted, we got a 100% refund and are now flying to Panama City and Cartagena for our vacation instead.

Quality of the job is everything. I paid $2,600 including door jams and mine came out amazing. Assuming that this company is doing a custom design, not a single color with it made to fit your Porsche, $4,500 is completely reasonable.

Before and After KPMF Iridescent Black / Green:

Obligatory “hot take” that seems to fit ~1/3 of all of these but is never mentioned. Macan or Macan S.

You can easily find a ~$30k example with ~60k miles. These things are luxury and reliability all in one. You can find 10s of examples of 120-150k mileage ones that have virtually never had an issue.

Many foreign countries require you to have your finger print scanned upon entry and exit anyways, no matter your status. Also to note, I have Global entry and have never heard of an optical scan though. *shrugs*
