I can actually speak to his creating of the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC). I was in my senior year of college as a CS major when I was offered a chance to have my last few semesters paid for by the government if I got certification to be a Health Information Technology

I don't... I can't... nvm. If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all.

I don't think so. The original used a projector and a camera to detect things. So it would read QR code like things to pick up information about it. The newer one (Surface 2.0 now called Pixel Sense) actually has a light detecting "camera pixels" you could call them that allows for it to be much thinner.

Yeah that scheme is weird. The Surface's wifi is MIMO too.

Seems to be fine for me... then I realized that Seattle is looking just fine on that chart :)

I'm disappointed that there was no test of its skateboard-ability. http://gizmodo.com/5952426/microsofts-surface-makes-for-a-decent-skateboard

Looks like you can pre order it right now actually http://surface.microsoftstore.com/store/msstore/Content/pbpage.Surface

Like how Oprah says it? I can't find the video but it's there somewhere.

I used this because my new apt doesn't have a front desk like my old one and having it delivered to work adds an extra day. Was awesome to use, but I think that you can only use it if it ships from Amazon? I've ordered small cables and didn't have the option to have it delivered to a locker.

I don't know... does it?

haha nice

I thought this had more to do with being able to give away points. They can give away points for doing things like using Bing to search (when you sign in with your Live ID) and wouldn't be able to do that if it was just money for legal reasons. I hardly ever bought anything with MS points but I got 3 free months of

Luckily I have AT&T, but I'm still pissed off that they don't have a hard date set. I thought late October for sure, but because they just say "sometime in November" I feel like I can pessimistically think November 30th...

Exactly. I don't use the FB app because most of what I need is already baked in to the OS.

Ugh. I really like this phone, mainly because it's NOT as big as the 920 but has just as good of specs. What puts me over the edge are the Nokia exclusive apps like navigation and that music service. Plus the camera/van with professional photographers you get.

On the bright side, I bet there's an open position for a good technology analyst/editor.

"If you look at the bulk of the PC market, it would run between, say, probably $300 to about $700 or $800. That's the sweet spot."

I did not know that they're making a new RotT! Hell yes!

I already liked the 920's specs but didn't know if it would be enough to top what Apple might unveil... looks like it did.

Damnit Nokia! Take my money. Take it NOW! Why won't you take it?
