I've been using this feature on Bing for the past few months now. They have a price history and confidence rating on whether you should buy now or wait. I haven't tried Google's yet, but Bing's is great and has saved me a little more than $100.

Yes they could, but I remember with my previous BB Bold (which had the tethering option) they told me that there were ways to activate the hotspot feature without paying. However, if they noticed I did that then something not good would happen.

I hope the WP7 community gets big enough so we start seeing the jailbreaking of the phones to unlock this anyway.
