I thought they offered a ECU reflash to fix that? Also, aftermarket's got you well covered on that if you want it fixed.

This is probably the only thing that really held me back from this car. I can forgive low torque; I love low torque rev-happy engines. I can forgive the 200HP; it really is plenty for an everyday use sports car IMHO. But that dip would just drive me up a wall.
What a missed opportunity for them to fix that 3-5k rpm torque dip. The bastards.
The UP vibrates when you haven't moved for a set period of time and also works as alarm, so we're not too far away.
I wonder if the vital signs accessible to these gizmos could be put together to infer whether you've fallen asleep or are at risk of doing so. That could be a lifesaver in both private cars and commercial vehicles, especially if the interface were less intrusive and more built-in.
Is it using the new Ka band satellite?
agreed. we could never handle this thing
The base engine is naturally aspirated with 52 ponies (52 ponies actually live inside the engine)
This would never work in the USA, wwwaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyy too much power.
The quality was great, but as an IT guy let me tell you that lugging around 19" CRT monitors was not fun and they took up a lot of desk space. For layout and design work, though, their color quality was unsurpassed.
I kinda miss the color quality and the resolution, for computers anyway. I have a 2048x1536 CRT monitor at the house that not only beats my LCD monitors in DPI it also produces much better colors. 4k will finally get us back to better monitors and hopefully OLED will fix the color issue.
The last thing I would do if I had any kind of clout, money, etc, is fly coach. Not because of the people but because of the leg room.
I am anxiously awaiting the "Where is Delta Flight 236? (It's Delayed By Mechanical Problems) LOST LUGGAGE REMIX", complete with 48 minutes of silence in the middle of the track so you can tweet how horrible the airline is while you wait to find out if your luggage is in the same city as you.
will.i.am does his best work airport lounges. He's about to release an alternate version of "Where is the Love?" called "Where is Delta Flight 236? (It's Delayed By Mechanical Problems).
I know airport employees who have done that. Buy an annual membership for $400 or so bucks. Get free snacks & drinks after work whenever you want.
The weird part is that will.i.am wasn't even flying anywhere that day. He just likes to hang out at airport lounges.
Black Eyed Peas rapper will.i.am was kicked out of a United Airlines lounge over the weekend, and like many of us…
