@Tim the Enchanter: He means artists didn't package their work and then sell millions of copies of it to make their money. They were more like performers - you paid them to do their art, and then you went on their way. You didn't pay for a reproduction of their art.

I think it still remains to be seen how developers utilize this aspect of the NGP. It certainly could prove to be useful, but it could also just end up really gimmicky. Just look at how badly motion controls have been handled in some games.

@samarkand: Okay, so not just TV Tropes, but I chose that one because it's easily the biggest source of new shows for me.

@stafax: I saw that one. I didn't know they did others, or that the image you posted was part of them. Hopefully they'll keep making more. They're really fun.

I don't see what's wrong with this. You have studios whose specialty is developing games for handheld platforms - why wouldn't you get them to make the triple A games you need for your handheld to be a big success?

Very well done. I always like the legend of John Henry. Kind of a bittersweet tale, but very inspiring none the less.

@Cake Tank!: I second this motion. Folklore TF2 skins for everyone!

@my_fist: What is that from? I need to see more!

While it's definitely not something I would get, I actually really like the idea here. I hated the face plates for the original Xbox 360, because they were basically pointless. They only covered the tiny space on the front of your system. This actually transforms the look of your whole system, which I can dig.

@RoboBagins: I just read TV Tropes to find out what other, like-minded people are watching. That's how I got into basically every show I currently watch, aside from maybe the occasional episode of The Simpsons.

@DingoJunior: He's not totally wrong. It did used to contain cocaine; it just hasn't for a good 80 years or so.

We've recreated the scene so you can get an idea of what it might have looked like.

@FlyingAvocado: The eye is far more complex than any other muscle in your body. It's designed for very specific purposes, and trying to force it to do other things just doesn't work properly. Humans evolved along a certain path, and it takes a lot more than a few hundred years of focusing on books to change that.

Action Trip disgusts me. No amount of tonsil hockey* is worth wasting that much Coke!

@ar098: Same here.

@superflanker00su: I know several. Most of them are under 30 and appear to be in perfect physical condition.

@NortonDoomer: Like this? Because that would be incredible.

@Delphinus100: "I, for one, welcome our new catchphrase overlords."

@promet: Not by humans. Despite our omnivore status, we cannot digest many plants. It's one of the reasons weeds are considered such - they invade and choke out useful species of plants.
