Look, I agree that what’s happening in Venezuela is fucked up, and supporting Guaido is probably the right thing to do. But it’s a dangerous mistake to believe we’re acting so quickly out the goodness of our hearts. The US’s track record with Latin American diplomacy has us deserving every ounce of skepticism
