Yeah, that’s always the risk of hero worship. But I think it helps to strive to a be an idealized version of someone sometimes. You get to project your values on to an avatar and try to live towards them

And in all reality I do, my real idols are real people. But nobody here knows my friend’s mom Michelle so I gotta root for celebs like I root for sports teams
