Among green eyes we have a bluish green, which I think is the most common green kind in Northern Europe - but we also have a brownish green, which I suspect is more common in Central Europe. I would love to read more about the genetics behind these subtle variations within eye colour.

Mixed eye colour is not that uncommon to my understanding, especially among children. As a kid I had mixed eyes, shifting between green and brown. Sometime before puberty they settled on green.

The flashback made me cringe. I kept hoping she'd have demon eyes...at least.
