Ha no problem. I was at AM General from 2005-2011 in Livonia, MI. Military budget cuts means future programs always go first, which we were, so myself and a lot of others left before we got canned. We built a LOT of prototype vehicles to try to pitch to the government. Some just different variants others all new

This generation but with the stacked headlights is my favorite

Today any nouveau riche nincompoop with $137,995 can buy a Range Rover Autobiography.

50 Shades of MaxCare: The Range Rover Autobiography

When I Was stationed on Compass Call EC-130Hs (right next door to ABCCC) In Tucson,We got to do a few exchange rides with theses guys. Checking my log book show I have about 12 hours on that bird....

They only place I'd consider burning would be Florida.

I will never understand this American obsession with euro cars. Being Irish and living in the USA now, I can tell you that I grew up doing the opposite – fed up with our own stressed out little diesel econoboxes and craving the big American cars with their V8's and unique styling. The huge Crown vic or Impala taxis

They wouldn't sell. Jalopnik and it's readers GROSSLY overstate how many people want Euro cars here and that truck is no exception. For whatever reason about 90% of Jalopnik thinks the 200+ million people in this country would buy exactly what they would and that they are what the market wants. Nothing could be more

Hornblasters.com? Not what I expected.

There are many people in this country who love having a new car, can afford to and don't mind always making payments, and want something new every 3 years. Financial wisdom aside, they just like having something new and can afford to do so.

I <3 u guys but goddamn...

150K. Ha. The Ford Modular 4.6 laughs at that. It's just getting broken in at 150K.

360k on my 94.

Nope, it's the V8. Same deal though. These things last forever.

my stupid tab has a mind of its own with last minute word changes and deleting spaces, in my defence i was hella drunk at that time as well

Who are you, Bill Cosby's lawyer?

It definitely wouldn't average 10 mpg, not when it would primarily be operated on unpaved surfaces :-). I'd rather drive a car with a stick weighing less than 3,000lbs on roads :-D

I hate this Q so much.

Just think of it as a turbocharged diesel engine tuned to run on gasoline instead. Basically it's a similar block construction to the Powerstroke with it's compacted graphite iron block, and two turbochargers with direct injection. It's not going to be as bad as you think.
