Suspicious timeline: Jeffry Epstein gets arrested. Tucker Carlson abruptly disappears claiming to be on ‘vacation’. Jeffry Epstein found dead in his cell. Tucker Carlson abruptly returns from his ‘vacation’ with no explanation given.

After the Boston Marathon terrorist bombing in 2013 a Republican legislator from New Hampshire claimed the bombing had been staged. Since all decent people have already left the GOP all that’s left are crazies, misfits, con artists and nutcases.

Think back to the Senate confirmation hearings for Justice Sotomayor. A leading Republican during the hearings stated on-record the GOP position that empathy is an undesirable character attribute.

California missed the brunt of the virus. I heard someone speculate California probably caught the virus from China while the east coast caught it from Europe. Hence the disparity in death rates.

Cotton’s a Catholic. I recall when Pope John Paul II attempted to ‘restore order’ in the Catholic church buy silencing the people protesting pedophile priests. The difference between cops shielding racist sociopaths in their ranks and the church shielding pedophile priests is the pedophiles don’t usually commit murder.

This film was Pixar going back to its roots. Their very first demonstration short involved a sentient desk lamp.

I have a friend whose tastes in films have remained unchanged since he was eight years old. I don’t mean nostalgic fondness for the films of his youth, I mean genuinely thinking this stuff is five star material. Its really quite alarming.

‘Robocop’ doesn’t wear well while we’re being subjected to videos of militarized police brutalizing citizens in police riots.

Someone once said Newt Gingrich is what dumb people imagine smart people sound like. Same can be said for Joker, its what dumb people imagine good film making looks like.

Shielding racist sociopaths in the police force is just like shielding pedophiles in the church. Except pedophiles don’t usually murder people.

If you’re going to do a film that long just turn it into a fcking TV miniseries. 4 hours equals eight half hour episodes. There, you’ve got your series. It’ll also impose some much needed constraints on the film maker, like you’ll be obliged to go somewhere in the story every half hour in order to subdivide it. Not

I’m reminded of when the American Nazi party filled Madison Square Garden with a Hitler-style rally in 1939.

Scott Adams kind’a wore out his welcome after people came to realize his social theories resembled those of the pointy-haired boss in his cartoon.

Heads-up to anyone wanting to protest Trump. He’s getting the hell out of Dodge tomorrow, flying to a remote community in Maine for a pointless photo op.

My distant recollection of the film was at its core it was a decent ‘film noir’ but, stylistically, it had been given too much of a ‘Red Shoes Diary’ soft-core-porn polish to it, making it seem like a worse film than it was.

I was going to mention if you don’t include unsupervised cooking time, most of what we cook takes mere moments to prepare. Lentil soup: Water, lentils... boil. It takes more effort to make a peanut butter sandwich. The big time waster is cleanup. Avoid multiple mixing bowels and multiple pots on the stove.

Woah, the dude in the foreground is taking the term ‘army of one’ literally. Did he eat the other members of his squad?

The formerly benign term “All Lives Matter” got coped by the racist right the same way they cooped ‘Pepe The Frog’ and the Pornhub search term ‘cuck’. Now it means ‘Let ignore racist cops brutalizing certain sectors of the public’. Ignoring racism in the police force is akin to ignoring pedophiles in the priesthood.

No reaction at all to the hundreds and hundreds of racist police murders of unarmed citizens that happen every year but when the population rises up to oppose it only THEN do they start to worry about ‘civility’. This is a standard tactic. Call a right winger out for being a raving bigot and he’ll complain that you’re

Ha! I hadn’t noticed that the author was a MikeD too. My family name has one less syllable than his, though. I’ve been watching Korean films (where I can find them) since 1998. I’ve been watching Korean TV since 2012. And over the past year I’ve grown increasingly interested in the Korean music scene. When I first saw
