The main point is though, as you have stated, that is how the industry used to be. Working for a fairly large publisher myself, I have seen many great game concepts come and go, because the budget to create the game (development budget only - not accounting for marketing/publishing budgets on top of that) is too

This is probably, very sadly, truth you speak.

If you knew how much it cost to make games, you'd know this was a nonsensical comment to make. Very few great games are made on a tiny budget, it's an absolute shame, but that's how it goes.

Agreed! Though I'm practically a newb in the wait in comparison to you, as I only pre-ordered eight months ago (June) :D

Shenmue 3 would be the nail in the coffin - a franchise that whilst well loved makes SEGA zero profit.

I loved the Mako parts of ME1, as you describe it gave me the sense of being my own planetary explorer, a lone space gunslinger (albeit in a vehicle) seeking out spots of life on undiscovered (by my character at least) rocks.

I agree with all of what you have said, I have the same reactions with my status with the Companions, and being Thane for various cities - respect my authority ;)

This song always makes me think of Fallout 3 and NV - I know the composers are different, but there's still something about it that reminds me of scouring the wastelands.

This.

Yes, yes we do.

Heh, yeah I suppose you're right. I only watched the first two seasons so wasn't sure how much the show may have changed.

Didn't Weeds do that?

You're tearing me apart...Kratos!

I wasn't sure, then saw somebody else point it out earlier in the thread. Of course it was Jill - such a pleb :)

Heh - fun indeed, as long as you don't mind the feeling that money and time could have been better spent.

Ah, I wasn't sure if it was Jill or not (I commented about this earlier but didn't twig it was Jill)...consider me now enlightened.

If only they taught me the theory of male gaze through this comic strip, instead of many lectures :D

Shame, I was growing to like her...huur hurr.

Nice Ramona Flowers, I'm honestly not lusting here...ahem.
