I see a cool air intake, a NOS fogger system, and a T4 turbo. It has direct port nitrous, an AIC controller...

But dude, he almost had him!

I think everything you said pertaining to hypercars being more about bragging rights than performance is absolutely true... but simply blaming a horsepower figure I think is kind of missing the main issue.

Ron Davis makes great radiators, but an LS swapped Volvo may require a pretty custom application. For trans, you can try one of the bigger Setrab coolers. I hear they work well, but I have not tried one out yet.

If that. In my experience, insufficiently cooled LS motors heat up very quickly, let alone with no cooling at all. Furthermore, at least from the LS3 on, there is also an oil cooler (in the main radiator).

uuuummmm.... Couldn’t help but notice, but they are running this motor without coolant....

This may be the most hipster thing I have read all year.

While we are at it, we should totally speak in Newspeak (so much more efficient), implement more doublethink ideas (like eliminating reproductive freedom to ensure freedom for all), and install a group to ensure these new paradigms, like sterilization, are met. We should call it Ingsoc...

This happened to me once. I sold a 67 Mercury Cougar to some kid. I bought it cheap, put a little money into it, and sold it for a profit. About a year or two later, I started to miss the old Cougar and started looking for another one. I saw a craigslist ad for a white 67 with a 351 Cleveland in it, just like mine

@Splinter: I wanted to tell you guys that I think videos like this are important: the constant back and forth of the “guns kill people” and “guns save people” emotional responses to tragedies really are not terribly useful when not backed by facts and reliable statistics. Enacting or repealing regulations for anything

Just buy the damn minivan.

It always amazes me how little most people know about cars beyond “I put the gas in here.” Trusting your life at 80+ mph in something you know almost nothing about always seemed strange to me. Honestly, I think part of our driving test here should be a basic understanding of the mechanics of a car.

Even with the new Hellcrate kit coming out, I still think the the LS3 is the best value per dollar: 430HP, simple design, compact enough to fit into almost anything, and, arguably, the most aftermarket support, all for under 10 grand.

That just makes this bastardization all the worse.

Man I thought it was bad when Dodge released the Charger; a four door designed to entice baby boomers with a sensible family sedan bearing the moniker of the muscle car they use to have. But at least it looks aggressive and has muscle car variants. In fact, with all the engine options, the only real difference between

I think more people should offer their ridiculous cars on Turo. Maybe start a stupid drag-car only Uber service so people can be driven around in Dad’s nitrous-injected Hemi ‘Cuda.

Look, fuck the HOA.

Plus, keep in mind how much economic damage would occur if California sought to ban all conventional cars. It’s not like every single driver in the state can afford to go out and buy a new hybrid or EV.
