Thank you, I appreciate that. I always thought that, out of the factory, the 5th Gen Prelude was a little boring, but a great platform to build. The car was fairly basic in design, but it was wide and had nice trapezoidal lines... A little altitude adjustment and just a touch of more aggressive styling and I thought

Thank you, i put a bit of work into it. It also had an S2000 steering wheel. Was a blast to drive. i really would like to pick up another one some day.

My only advise is this: anyone who wants to do track days (especially if you’re cranking up the power on your car), invest in better/bigger brakes, pads, and good brake fluid.

I’ve read through the grapevine that the clutch system in the ATTS unit of the SH starts to slip around 250 hp

I believe the SH-AWD system was based on the same tech as the ATTS, which was the first, much as the VTEC we all enjoy was based on the NSX.

I actually had a 1998 Prelude SH. I will say, after all the cars I have owned, this was definitely one of my favorites. I still miss that car:

Won’t a normal rev limiter be enough to protect the engine?

Our society has an odd fixation with rarity. So much so, that it values it above everything else.

I had an E46 a while back. I loved that car; I thought the lines were classic. I feel like the 2 is the next natural progression of that car (not the E92), so I am naturally drawn to it. But that’s a personal preference thing.

I would argue an 05-06, as the 04's still had the LS1 rather than the LS2. That said, those cars are so rare, many clean examples cost almost as much as a 2010 SS Camaro, which looks better, has better brakes standard, and is more powerful.

The 2 still looks better, imho. I always thought the 1 had kind of a surprised look on its face.

Austin is really more IT than development. I should have specified :P

Literally the first hit I get when I search “Madison WI tech companies” is an article written by Alissa Walker, the most prolific anti-car writer the Gawker group has ever known. I find that disconcerting.

The map just doesn’t do these roads justice... so many elevation changes that aren’t apparent on the map

It may not look that fun via map...

Dear Midwest,

If you are going to get an F-Body Camaro, make sure it’s a 98+. Can still be had for $4000 and will have an LS1 rather than an LT1, a far superior motor, imo.

Counterpoint:

So this is exactly the kind of shit South Coast Mitsubishi would pull. They are the sketchiest and most immoral bag of douches that call themselves a dealership. Don’t believe me? Go look at their BBB rating; it’s a D-, which is up from the F they had a few years ago. Hoarding a bunch of low mileage Evo’s,

Expediency is not the same as access. Blocking one lane of a freeway for those with money to get somewhere faster is not the same as blocking realistic access to an entire city from those who do not.
