On the DI BMWs, you have to pull the intake manifold off and use walnut shell media to blast the carbon build up off the back off the valves. Im sure all DI engines are similar. I think most shops charge $400-$600 for the service.

Pretty sure you were dating a chick...

Something beige and boring that everyone has, like a camry or an accord. Then make sure she knows what it looks like and that its yours. So now when she sees one on the road, she will think “that might be him?” And she will see a boat load of them.

My buddy works for a well known suspension/wheel/aftermarket manufacturer and says prius suspension parts fly off the shelf, they cant keep them in stock! Crazy

The 3 series BMW got too big, here is the 1 series... oh wait now its a 2 series that's slightly bigger and the cycle continues...

When someone who knows nothing about cars asks “ So what mods do you have?” even though they have no idea what youre talking about. You start rattling off specs and specifics and watch their eyes glaze over. Happened with my DSM all the time. Holset HX35, HKS 272 cams, 750cc injectors, 28x12x3.5 intercooler, 3inch

I want to say pulse red 04 GTOs have 40 anniversary stickers on a lot of parts because the plan was to make it the 40th anniversary special and then it never came to be. There are a few cars that have the build sheets taped under the rear seats too or even inside the rear seat, I just cant think of which ones now.

That makes sense but both were not the case. I was looking at a new car and then decided it wasn’t the one for me or the timing wasn’t right financially. It is my fault for not understanding that was how the credit scoring process worked. I still think its kind of dumb. My credit score was a 725 and then dipped down

I had a ding on my credit because it was run too many times by car dealerships when I was searching for a car. It was my fault for not knowing I could get dinged for it being run too many times. But basically, I was shopping for a car and took a couple of months to find exactly what I wanted and kept shopping around.

Any BMW with a manual transmission and M sport package WITHOUT a sunroof. They are hard to find and command a premium over the sunroof versions especially second hand

Maybe you don’t buy a Z06 to tune it but its all relative. Eventually the baddest of cars (if driven a lot) start to feel slow... So a few mods/a tune make them feel fun again for a while.. rinse and repeat until the car becomes a monster and is no longer fun to drive because its unreliable or compromised of being a

Because they are black? Powdercoat will take care of that for a reasonable amount of money as long as you take the wheels off before you take it in to get done.

I did one of these years ago in my Evo X in the novice class. It was a lot of fun and really hard to arrive on time (we didn’t even have a stop watch). We missed the final time by 15 seconds but came in 3rd place because a couple people royally screwed up. 1st and 2nd place we both under half a second off from

Suzuki SX4. I cant post pictures for some reason but there are quite a few in offroad guise and they look good!

Or no trans brakes back then? A trans brake will make a auto come off the line like a bat out of hell.

You might have paid for the whole seat, but youll only need the EDGE!!!

No DSM? I am disappoint...

They are very different but a lot of new turbo cars are now electronically controlled and its one valve to control both the wastegate and act as a BOV. Its funky indeed.

Is there a place to store the hardtop in the car? Any pictures with the hardtop installed? Softop option? It looks soo good, I want one!

A guy I work with did this in his brand new C6 (he didn’t die). He left his proximity key in his jacket on the work bench, sat in the car and closed the door. The door wouldn’t open and he didn’t know about the lever. He called onstar for help... If you buy a vette, this lever should be the first thing the dealer
