I had an 03 for my first bike. I loved it! I just sold it a couple weeks ago and regret it but I needed the money. Great bike, good low end power, cruised well, and handled awesome. They are cheap enough that if you lay it down, you wont be too mad at yourself for spending a shit load. This bike should be number 1.

its a 2011. I can get decent money for it but right now there isn't a car out that can replace it for the money.

I hope this does well and is affordable, so I can sell my 135 and get one.

Yes it is a twinscroll turbo now.

Since 2011, the 335/135/etc. has been a single turbo gas 6 cylinder (N55). Not sure if the new B58 motor is twin turbo or not.

I agree. If new cars are going to have a little triangle piece of glass up front, it should be functional and open like the wing/vent windows of yore. They provide soo much air flow without a lot of noise and without disturbing anything in the car. I love them on my 59 Bug.

My old choke cable was removed and in its place I put a pull/headlight switch with a stock knob that turns on my electric fuel pump. I think its pretty cool.

I see a white one every day on my way to work, reminding me how good looking I think they are.

My buddy's mom had a mid 90s 300D Mercedes. You could punch it from a dead stop and it would slowly pull away like a normal diesel, then the turbo would hit and it would break the tires loose. It pulled pretty hard all the way to the 150mph governor with White Zombie blaring and without a fuss.

If I am friends with a person who buys a terrible/hideous/atrocious car before they buy it, then I just give them shit about it occasionally. If I just meet you and you tell me you drive a dumb/slow/beige car, then I discount you and all your opinions on cars.

I think I remember reading about a judge who deemed this unconstitutional. He said that the cop could not prove that they were actually "racing". It was just one person speeding and another person speeding but going faster.

No way its 500 hp especially to the wheels. Heads, cam, headers, and intake manifold will get you high 400s. His mods are nowhere near that.

Always great articles, Doug. On your next article, can you elaborate on driving a RHD car in a LHD world, please? I drove a RHD in AUS and kept hitting my elbow on the drivers side window because Id go to crank the wheel with my right arm. I also found parallel parking a bitch, for some reason.

Love the Corrados and want one soo bad but the electrical problems scare the hell out of me...

I drove a Fiat truck in Italy that was 5 on the tree! It was pretty cool. It had shift linkage issues and was in the shop often but it was a work truck, was abused, and had a lot of miles on it.

My VW doesn't have a trip meter or a gas gauge. But has a reserve lever but you can still run out of gas if you don't switch back after filling up or are careless.

Rotaries can flood even with fuel injection because mazda wanted to make sure they were as unreliable as you can get with modern fuel injection

My 59 VW bug doesn't have a gas gauge but it does have a reserve lever. The electric fuel pump makes running out of gas not as bad but make sure you throw the reserve lever back to normal or youll really be out of gas next time.

I feel like most of these people who say "oh wow this is nicer than a BMW" haven't looked inside a BMW since the early 90s. And probably drive a early 2000s Toyota. So of course a brand new chevy is going to look and feel better than your early 2000 Toyota/beige mobile its 15 years newer. Of course the interior

If someone wants your wheels, they will get them. The locks will just slow them down and make the thief buy one of those tools. And taking the nut/lug out of that tool after its bit into it, is kind of a bitch so it wouldn't be as fast. He found out, they had taken 4 sockets that were close to the size of his locks
