Eh, give the big guy a break. Water is a much better defensive typing than Ground/Fire, and as a Legendary it makes sense that Groudon would have some type of defense against its 4x weakness.

"Not that I'm buying a Wii U yet. Maybe when there's a whole bunch of Captain Toads."
Yes, because not buying the game or system is going to incentivize them to make more.
I call BS on this article. I've got a a friend who's at BronyCon and says that the Game Room is pretty awful. There's a lot of wasted space due to the projector set-ups yet despite this the room is cramped and stifling. The retro section is just 10 TVs on 15 tables. The Rock Band set-ups with the custom songs are…
You purchased a bunch of games in the first three months of 2014, but how many of those are you going to play? A deal isn't a deal if you're not going to actually use the thing you're buying. It's why Steam sales have lost a lot of their luster for me.
I'd really love to see a D&D-like game, where one player with the gamepad is the DM and the other players are the PCs. Maybe they can do a full version of Crimson Shroud like that?
Oh hey Russell, how are you? I believe we're Facebook acquaintances through Orvie.
The Big Huge Games story hits very close to home for me, as I have a good amount of friends who actually worked there. I don't think the writer of this story is one of them, but everything they said matches up with what I know.
Actually the GBA SP 101 model, which is what she's got there, is the best choice for complete backwards compatibility with the entire Game Boy library.
I prefer the charcoal one myself, but as long it's a 101 model it's all good!
Good on Nintendo for valuing their employees. I'm sure one of the reasons their games are as fun as they are is because they take the time to grow and nurture their talent.
Super jelly right here.
Loved the 70's porn music during the intro for the GC controller adapter. Maybe they'll start making some again...
OK, that was pretty great to watch.
I get what you're saying, but if going to start speaking in objectives right off the back I'd have to disagree and say that portables like the Vita, DS, or 3DS are the best platforms for gaming. They're easy to use, can be taken anywhere, provide a really wide variety of quality games, and I don't have to sit still to…
I do so love the ability to mod graphics on the PC, but with some older games the devs really new how to create an art style that would stand the test of time. Yoshi's Island, for example, is still just visually wonderful.
Dang, I was really hoping the next Far Cry would be a full length Blood Dragon game.
What is that game in the headline picture?
Oh I'm sure some of it was prepped, but some of it seems like it was generated on the fly. I may not have spent of a lot of time in game dev, but I know A LOT about bullshitting.
