Okay, since nobody involved in writing any of this decided to include actual numbers, I guess I’ll do it.

In 1990, the EPA banned the use of phosogypsum containing radium-226 concentrations above 400 bq/kg (1 Bq = 1 radioactive decay per second).

For reference, cement ALSO contains radium-226, along with potassium-40

/rushes to typewriter, hurriedly pens script about a young man who has a bicycle accident on radioactive road and becomes the superhero Road Rash.

Would a Kia Soul work? With the seats down, they have ~60 cu ft of storage space.

The Ascent is a much bigger car. Even the Forester is bigger than the 5.

2017 Prius V?

I’m not as paranoid about rental cars are most people here are. And Teslas are pretty simple to operate and I’m not sure you can really abuse one outside of actually wrecking it.

Eew.  Then I’d have to make a Hertz rental and own a Tesla.  That’s a dookie double dose.

Maybe when the Lucid Gravity gets here.

Starts at $70K usd, not everyone needs a large 4 door, no local service center. I live in Boise, nearest Lucid “store” is 6 hours away. Rivian and Tesla are in my town.

My wife drives( since new) A 2004 Corolla with 110k miles, DOHC, 4 valves/ cyl, no timing belt to replace, 1.8 L, 120+ hp, front discs, AC, decent seats...If this had an Alfa badge people would have been ecstatic... But then the AC would have quit working, the headliner would have sagged, there would have been recalls

when people actually learn about Lucid, an american car company making the world’s most amazing cars.. with insane 500 miles range, more luxury than a mercedes s class, and better handling than most sports cars.. for just over $60k..

For anyone interested in this car, test drive it before buying anything. It goes like stink but it handles like any ol’ family hauler. It does not feel sporty.

You’ll lose maybe 20 miles of range, not half. The new EVs are way better than the 1st gen in the cold.

There’s no such thing as a free lunch.

14,000 mile Polestar2 at $26K has entered the chat.

LOL, yup. The exchange with the lot person when I returned mine:

Ford EcoSport. Even free I would still be disappointed in my self every time I had to drive it.

Don’t forget the TourX.

316hp is no slouch, plus its a Volvo so it’s safe for the family

VW Golf Alltrack SE or SEL. Then tint the windows in the back something fierce to hide your equipment.
