I’m biased but my vote goes to my 1996 Acura Integra GS-R. The reasons were simple; it was affordable, it was cheap to run, it was comfortable, it was reliable and it was fast when it needed to be. I was able to squeeze 150k miles out of mine before the engine needed a new head gasket. Try that with your supercar.

I only had a motorcycle, for a while, and was commuting on it daily. When I got some of that stimulus money, I used it to buy a beater for $1700 that I could drive to work when it was really cold or raining (I live in San Diego, so really cold for me is 45 and under).

Honestly, just get a base one, put 100k miles on it, then sell it for like 60% of the price. Rinse and repeat. Gas savings and unbeatable depreciation.

I actually think the newest Prius actually looks pretty slick. Definitely the best looking of all of them to my eyes by far. (The 3rd gen was also decent looking -for a Prius).
