Glad to see the EV recommendation. My Tesla 3 replaced my BMW 3 series (lost in a fire) and I can’t see why anyone would buy an ICE vehicle if an EV is available in their price range (unless in an apartment where no home charging is available).

How about replacing it with a new car that feels like new?
I’m curious how many systems had to fail or be ignored for that truck to be tooling down the highway with a huge metal sail reaching skyward.
Cruise ships are hybrids. Just like Trains. Diesel generators make electricity, props are spun by electric motors.
Besides the obvious reliability argument, I would argue that it’s a more compelling vehicle than an 8-series, CLS, or other big luxury coupe. These things are truly stunning in person, and the high-revving, great-sounding NA V8 is long gone in all its competitors.
The LC is one of those cars that looks amazing in person. Pictures can’t do it justice. It has significant road presence, an amazing naturally-aspirated V8 and is almost certainly a very comfy place to be.
After checking out prices for used LC500s, I’m amazed at how well these Luxo-boats hold their value. Not my Cup O’ Noodles, but Nice Price, I guess ...
That’s still at least 10k too much.
Wrong. Its a Russian engine made by a tractor company called NAMI ( Russian abbreviation for “ Tractor Research Institution” supposedly with “ Help” from Porsche. The very few things I’ve ever seen from Russia are totally hot garbage.
And whats my daily driver? A Toyota Tacoma, which is exactly 200% better and more…
for sure! They all look happy and shake hands on TV but in the end, that fake limo will gather dust somewhere in a warehouse, far far far away from anything remotely important.
Most likely gonna end up on cars & bids in the next 5-10 years.
Hold the fuck up.

Coal rolling fuel setup, bad for everyone around you, and for your truck too.
