Why people would willingly sign their freedom away for ‘high property values’ is way beyond my understanding. Not only do they sign their freedom away while on their own property, high property values are also directly proportional to higher annual property taxes. Somehow, people are fine with paying high annual

No, subscriptions are all credit card. No cash is changing hands here.

In my municipality they restrict washing your car at home to one day per week and only from a bucket (no running hose) to save water don’t you know.   Businesses have no water restrictions at all, just homeowners, because we are the problem.

I tried that.

There’s a family of dealers in my area that agreed, just after the pandemic started, that they will not sell over sticker. I’ve bought two cars from them (a VW and a Mazda) and it has been sticker or in the case of the VW, less than sticker. This includes the Civic Type-Rs and Golf Rs they order. I know they are the

I have one and the biggest parts issue I have run into is the Pana roof shade. It's not built well so many of them break and  the parts take a while to come in. The dealership farmed the work out to a place that specializes in convertible tops to get it done- this is a local place that has a high level of skill and

I’ve bought one car sight unseen from a remote dealer, this was in late 2020, we had spent 6 months shopping for a car for my wife to replace her 1990s Mercedes E class wagon that had been her daily driver for the previous 10 years... I had her test drive Subarus Outbacks, Mazdas CX-5 and Mazda6, Honda Accord, various

Can you really get a modern car in purple?!!

My wife and I recently bought a 2013 Lexus RX350 from Carmax. My wife knew exactly what year/model/color/trim she wanted, and she found a very low-mileage example in Carmax’s inventory in Southern California. We paid $200 to transport the car to Sacramento and were very pleased with the purchase. It did cost us a bit

Not often I can say this, but as someone shopping 15= year-old Caymans: thank you. Good to get validation of the “if it seems off, walk away” mentality I’ve developed. There have been lots (and lots) of suspicious examples I’ve run across. Even from Porsche dealers, let alone the slick “we finance everyone” dealers

One simple step in researching a dealer is to use Google Maps to inspect their location. From the overhead view, does it look orderly? Are there vehicles like the one you’re shopping for on the lot? Does the area around the dealer look solid, or is it a shabby industrial park? Then go to street view. Does the showroom

To be fair, this sounds more like some wacky CANBUS issue. Vehicles these days run EVERYTHING over their internal network. I remember reading about an F-150 that had a corroded CANBUS connector in the tail light housing and it caused a MYRIAD of problems very similar to what I’m reading here. Everything from

Yeah. I posted a comment to the other Blazer EV article about this. I was considering the Prologue but concerned about the GM underpinnings.  Looks like my concerns were founded!

Good thing they are getting rid of Android Auto and Apple Car paly, those things can be distracting to drivers.

Honda of America getting ready to release the Prologue:

We all know there is a horn lexicon. I speak and understand horn fluently. You, Bradley, are not better than us, you are in fact horn illiterate and thus inferior. You are the Helen Keller of horns.

I bought a 2014 Prius from Shift.com in April 2021, and I’d never bought a car before, but it turned out great. I can tell you what I did:

Sounds like the switch away from CarPlay is going as well as everyone expected.

Only reason why Altima drivers aren’t on that list is because they don’t have insurance. Tesla drivers are essentially Altima drivers with arguably ‘nicer’ cars, that can afford to insure their vehicles. And Ram drivers being #2 for accidents and the coveted #1 spot for ‘incidents’ come at no surprise to anyone.
