I want to commend you for purchasing an LC500. I thank you for driving, what I think is, one of the most beautiful cars out on the road.

Is there any evidence that is product will do something similar and actually trap moisture against the metal?

Curious, did you get the GT with the V6 or the 4 cylinder (I’m currently in the market). The red and blue are fabulous.

Question for those that ride: is 35 mpg typical for a bike? It seems quite low when you can get 3,000 lb+ cars that can match or beat that.

This isn’t a QOTD, however I’d like to add the RF:

Plus you can get it in green:

It’s so the dealer doesn’t sell it so they can keep it for test drives.

Do you have any tips for areas to look for good examples of depreciated ones? We’ve loved my wife GS, however when I look at replacements they seem to hold their value for quite a bit. To drop in any noticeable way (more than 25%), have to go back almost 10 years.

I was thinking the Marauder

How does it compare with the Hyundai Elantra N?

The cross tour profile is scary similar.

And most Subaru engines

Grew up in the same area, totally agree. It’s odd how some cars seem to last and other don’t. Brings up the question is the kind of folks that buy them or the quality of the cars initially. However it seems you’d see dozen of them every day, wonder where they all went? Hell I’m still driving a ‘96 camry.

100% this, wish I could give you a million stars.

That should be a QOTD. What temporary fix has been semi-permanent in your life? I had a broken door handing mechanism (inside the door). Fixed it with JB weld to temporarily...that was 8 years ago. Still holding up strong!

2 part epoxy’s for the win. I’ve used them for almost everything in my home and car and they hold up well.

It’s the German engineering experience (GEE).

Honestly, does anyone know the difference between the Sportage and Sorento? It notes that the sportage is 7 inches longer, is that it? Why do they make vehicles that are so, so similar. Do they both compete in the same class (i.e. CR-V)?

Completely agree however I’d also recommend doing the calculation for the extra cost in premium fuel.

Let people like things.
