This would make a great topic for QOTD. Which Pimp my ride car was your favorite? Mine is absolutely the one where they put a chocolate fountain in above giant subs:

I’m here for hoping the electric future brings back the coach building. With more uniform powertrain designs (like the skateboard), coach builders could go crazy with interior and exterior designs.

were the blue wires from the battery to what looks like the engine bay stock? They appear to pass over the weather stripping, which I’d worry about mechanically wearing them down over time.

Woah I didn’t realize Wranglers were almost $60k without the v8 and the stupid cheap interior

I don’t think that’s true. Had a friend yesterday put in an order for a Tacoma just the way he wanted it and the dealer put the order in and gave in an estimated delivery date of about 8 weeks.

I agree, I’ve always thought it looked too reserved for a super/hyper car. Almost like a stretched melted beetle.

Do they have these on cruise ships? Always wondered how they stabilize them.

Even mid-size trucks are overpriced. Look at the asking prices for used Tacomas. I’ve have a few friends buy new ones because they’re the same price as a few year used one.

I’m forever in the grays, however my dad was a paramedic and always asked the really old folks what their secret was to old age, most of them took a shot of alcohol once a day. I think it has more to do with genetics.

In Canada do your cars report the liters per 100 km burn rate, or do you have to calculate it yourself? I’ve always been curious why Top Gear UK reported MPG when they don’t use miles...

Well they do have an entire base of folks out there purchasing the LC, which is more of grand tourer and can be more expensive than the RC.

We’ve had a Lexus GS300 that states all over it premium fuel required. That thing hasn’t had premium since we bought it over 10 years ago and nothing has gone wrong. All modern cars and adjust accordingly, you’ll typically get slightly lower power. However if you’re not flooring it everywhere I bet the average driver

100%, it’s faster than the Raptor 0-60.

I was just thinking that. I’ve been wanting to learn and none of my friends have a manual.

could have half of it for lunch and the other half for dinner!

I think negotiating to buy a car sucks, everyone can agree the majority of the market needs to be redesigned. However until then, the main reason folks negotiate is because you have too! The prices wildly vary and unless you shop around you could be stuck spending thousands of dollars on the 2nd most expensive item

How does this differ from a manual Camry/Accord/Etc of the same year? it looks and feels to me like their everyman car. Now I’m not a VW enthusiast, so I might be missing something.

So Mercedes, did you order two vehicles from Japan and they are being delivered to opposite costs of the U.S.? If so, do you know why the delivery locations vary so greatly?

Rob, thank God you’re back. Please don’t ever leave us again. The NPND is the highlight of my mornings and I think one of the best series on this site.

I think any of those with such strong political opinions, that they believe putting a paragraph on the back of their truck will change others’ opinions
