A manual will TOTALLY turn this snoozefest into a proper sport sedan, amirite ?

I hope he trailered it to a junkyard, because that’s where it belongs.

Pretty sure that’s a Lamborscherrari dude.

Here’s a much rarer car-based Fiat commercial vehicle : the only two-door 131 wagon, the Marengo.

“easily turn a hatchback into a little wagon or something, by propping the hatch up horizontally like a roof”

@ 1:49, many bricks were shat.

Not my proudest fap.

As i can’t edit my message, i’ll add here that the french picture is saying something about 15 patents (not examples), and that it’s based on the rare 850 Idroconvert, which has a semi automatic gearbox similar to the contemporary Porsche Sportomatic.

Now playing

You can briefly see it in this psychedelic promo video (skip to 6:00 if it doesn’t automatically) getting the final touches. A notable feature for the era (?) is that the sliding door is electrically operated. The car in the background is the Autobianchi Coupè concept, also designed by Manzù.

The trunk of that Fulvia Zagato can be closed just fine. There’s a small electric motor that allows you to slightly raise the hatch while driving, to aid with ventilation.

These were probably made by the “other” Maserati, the one that manufactured spark plugs, batteries and motorcycles.

Rally gifs FTW !

Fun fact: the 1974 Cadillac Fleetwood 75 was also 21 feet long. Before the introduction of the 2016 Mercedes-Maybach Pullman, this was the longest production car ever made.

You would know about it if you followed him on Twitter.

Just FYI, that video is from a great 1978 italian movie/documentary called “Formula 1- Febbre Della Velocità” aka “Speed Fever”. It’s not available anywhere in english, tho.

I saw it in Italy, where it’s been since 2001. No idea if the mods are recent or what...

I had a similar moment, a few years ago. I’m still not sure about what kind of truck this is...
