Its socially unacceptable for them to wear it. There is historical precedent for men to wear makeup and its possible many would if they didn't risk ridicule.

You don't just have to judge anti aging drugs based on lifespan. You could watch the progress of age related damage or disease. This would probably require annoyingly long studies (perhaps a decade or two) but would still be workable. Better yet would be if you could actually repair that damage in some way.

I really don't like the idea of retrofitting this game's plot to fit it into the Homeworld universe. I don't see how it adds to Homeworld and only think it could detract from this game. Let Shipbreaker have its own universe.
