The alternative is that she's so good at her job she (knowingly or unknowingly) got guilty people off the hook. Which wouldn't make her a very likable character.

I cringe any time someone conflates selfies with self-portraits. I don't necessarily have anything against someone holding their phone up to take a picture of their face, but to say it's the same thing as a self-reflection required for a really good and creative self-portrait, well, I guess I just don't get it.
