The purpose of pointing out the 83 vs 88 percent, in this case, is to prove that not only was what DonJ tweeted was a false stat, but that he chose 88 deliberately. No where in the article does the writer point this out to disparage the Dem.

Yeah. And if they had set Discovery in that time, EVERYTHING would have made sense. The advanced tech, the partially corrupted Federation, the Alien races we never met, the Alien races we know that look wildly different. They could have gone where no none has gone before IN the show. Not in some web short.

Politics Corner - ‘Jobs not mobs’ edition. 11 letters to justify fascism. And it’s catchy. It rhymes. And I can’t debunk it in 11 letters. I got into an argument where I made the counterargument as efficiently and factually as I could manage.

This has been the Republican line for decades: Fuck things up then blame the Democrats.

definitely helped quarterbacks, but so has coaching. When Deadspin published that article about how their were no good QB’s, the main complaint from coaches was that college programs were not preparing players for the pro game. They were all still looking for 7 step pocket passers that could read a defense or

OK, as far as I know, there were only two calls that could have been made.

From this angle I think it was the right call:

You did the heavy lifting with the screen shots here, so I’ll add on to your post. To me its mind boggling that everyone seems so self-assured that this ball is clearly in the stands. You simply can’t tell from these angles.

Oh definitely, I’m 99% sure those guys are leaning against the wall with their knees and judging by their arm extension would easily be over the wall.

I think the replay official made the right call because you absolutely can not say that the ball is over the yellow line when the play happens. But did West make the right call? It’s really close either way. Much too close for him to be so certain. The fact that West handled the press conference poorly should surprise

Okay

One game playoffs are dumb.

Fine, but only because you said "Please ".

Count me with Feinberg there.

I get it. It’s an awesome play and you’re absolutely right the onus should be on a gunners to figure out if a fair catch was called or not.

Hot take, but they are right to ban this kind of play. With the targeting rules as they are in the NCAA, players are (as they should be) gun-shy about clobbering a dude just standing there defenseless. Hell, it might even be a personal foul even if it’s a live play -- the refs could just say he had given himself up.

The play was a risk for Brewer, leaving him wholly unshielded if anyone on the coverage team sniffed out the ruse and decided to plow into him at full speed.

Absolutely fair point. Though that American sports culture is more accepting of homosexuality is insane.

All of this is accurate. It’s possible to have empathy for Serena’s path here, root for her to get 25, and be awed by her ability to remain at the top of a sport for going on two decades here as well as admitting she was getting housed and melted down. It’s just not a thing most fans are capable of doing, especially
