TNG and DS9 were both first run syndication so had identical distribution. A large portion of stations ran both, but that wasn’t by rule. (I don’t know if a majority of Ds9 stations ran TNG and highly doubt the reverse was true since TNG was more popular in those years). DS9 and VOY shared stations in many markets…
