That don't mean he was a homo, Miller. A lot of straight guys like to watch their buddies fuck. I know I do.

Yeah, I like him in that movie. He doesn’t seem remotely charming or charismatic, but I think that’s more or less perfect for the character. He’s kind of a remote, handsome lug who fails upwards. He really comes to life when he’s frightened, which likewise suits the character perfectly.

I honestly read that series at least once a year as a teenager. I remember very clearly lsitening to an audio-cassette version as well in my elementary/middle school library. More of a dramatisation than a full adaptation, if I remember, but it’s hazy. And since we’re talking about King, I would probably read The Eyes

Derry is closely based on Bangor, which King moved to in 1979. While he liked Bangor in some ways, he said he got increasingly creeped out by the culture - and there was a real-life gay-bashing murder there in 1984 that he based the Adrian Mellon scene on. I think that’s probably what made the “something’s deeply

Worst plot twist ev......eh, can’t really say that while remembering the Under The Dome series.

Rarely in cinema have so many talented and successful people collaborated to make something so awful.

But Friends With Money was sublime.  So many friends with things.

Elliott Gould. In a western set in the late 19th C.

Exactly. Dortmunder is supposed to be an unlucky sad sack (albeit a brilliant one).

The 70s were all about the hair, let it go, let it flow and all that. Chewbacca could have been a disco star and maybe even Canadian adult cinema.

That is not so out of reality, I mean the lethal hiding game, is, not the pest thing though, you can be someway kinda friend with very rich people but you are always one of “them”

How dare you insinuate that there were any problems with They Came Together, a perfect film?

I remember watching 2001 in high school on an old, rented VHS tapes, oan and scan, with the blacks all washed out to blue and the soundtrack a little warbly. It’s still a solid movie.

Is that the one with the finger coming out of the sink? I agree that one’s great

I always thought he was in his late 30's early 40's and she is in her early 20's. It’s not that creepy/implausible for a 1 night stand.

Hahah yeah we might not be ready for a plane crashing into a skyscraper ending.

Reading the phrase “clumsy, Clouseau-esque waiter” I realized that 1) I automatically hear “weh-tare" in my head, and 2) making room for a 25 year old Simpsons reference (a line of dialog from a one-off character at that) is a clear sign of how bored the reviewer was.
