I can respect that. He's gone downhill since he went up Hillary's ass like the rest of the media did. And they did.

LOL. You're hired!

Hey now. That's ableist language meant to denigrate people with mental illness. That's a big no no.

He's super libertarian socially and very liberal economically, and kind of an Obama style "pragmatist" hawk foreign policy wise.

I mean remember when people made jokes about Murphy Brown in the 90s? Nowadays you can't even find someone on the street who knows who the fuck Murphy Brown is.

I think Maher serves a purpose and I like his show. But political humor, particularly his type of current events, super partisan humor, has a short shelf life. That's why I think while he has a good niche, he'll never be as funny of a comedian as say, Norm, or Burr, or Patrice, or even Gaffigan. Doesn't mean I don't

In fact I don't recall Maher ever using it in a bit or during standup but I could be wrong. I can recall several times that Louis did though.

Louis CK most certainly used the N word in stand up. You must not be familiar with this man's work.

Nealon was very good. But Norm has aged like a fine wine. It's been all downhill since Norm. Fey and Poehler were good too though.

Axe to grind given Bill is a "problematic" and whatnot.

Yes. they are. You try doing an episode on current events in one week 10-14 times for 20 years instead of complaining on social media.

To be fair, Trey and Matt are just better satirists than Bill Maher is.

Dennis Miller pre 9/11 was a stand up comedic genius and one of the best Weekend Update hosts in their history. (That prize goes to Norm though). If he retired on September 10th he'd be remembered for that, not for the current right wing blowhard he is now.

Definitely fuck them both, and fuck Bill too. But I'm fine with not frog marching him out of HBO studios as I do enjoy the show from time to time.

West didn't like Hillary because West is a radical socialist activist (I'm not right wing, he's said this on numerous occasions), and he feels everything Clinton related is anathema to his goals and ideology.

The joke was not funny. And they didn't really laugh like a usual joke on Maher. Usually his audience are trained seals. Except sometimes when he says something even less offensive than this and then he plays the asshole host game with them like he always does.

I'm not even doing that. He's become mostly a hack anyway. But I'm not wrong here.

The Outrage Industry is all in vogue these days.

Fart noise.
Spongebob meme.

And don't get me wrong it was a lame, boneheaded joke.
