I consider it an OK movie, but I found Sinnerman through Cellular.

He managed a few guest spots in Orphan Black in the past, so he can probably do a few episodes. Given their release dates, I'm pretty sure the two show's production schedules don't overlap that much.
Not a trick. An imperative!
Not as good at it, as his son, apparently.
With 100% less nautical disasters!
So, I have to ask - if the US military is abandoning posts, why are those two corrupt Mexican border officers still taking bribes to smuggle people into(!!!) Mexico? Not like it hasn't been hit by the same problems.
I don't get if this show is stupidly predictable or predictably stupid. I feel like a masochist going further, though I probably won't make it to the season finale.
Glee existed because in a perfect world it would have delivered on the promise of musical high school satire from the first few episodes.
About The Lion King: just last week I had a friend text me about how he was watching it but he didn't get the hype. I replied that it was a similar experience for me. I liked some of the music and the animation, but ultimately felt it was mediocre compared to other Disney fare.
I don't equate "Threw It on the Ground" with Catcher in the Rye because they are different sides to teenage issues - one's whiny, one's angrily self entitled.
I wasn't going through anything like that, but on my first attempt I quit after the first 3 episodes - I found it too depressing.
Well, The Usual Suspects comes from a time where the "twist" was really something. I hear people talking about it, or read articles about this and that…and my reaction is "Benicio del Toro was in this movie?". Besides Spacey, only Postlethwaite stood out for me, but I've always been a fan.
He really was a "whiny douche", wasn't he?
Tudyk and Kranz too. I actually had seen Tudyk previously, in the original Death at a Funeral, where he has this nude scene, and knew he was in good shape, so no surprise there.
The real stars were Enver Gjokaj, Fran Kranz and Dichen Lachman. While all of them haven't disappeared, I wish they would have gotten bigger chances.
I understand the issue, though I think TV has made significant strides to rectify this, but I think the approach is wrong. Instead of insisting that these established franchises add such characters, where it may(or not) feel forced, why aren't you fighting for a gay or lesbian romantic comedy? Why not an action movie…
But this is what we're complaining about, isn't it? That the product is shallow. Including such themes and characters simply because of outside pressure, only adds to the overall superficiality.
Maybe those worlds don't make a big thing of it, or maybe they have no such concepts as clearly defined sexuality.
I'm for equal representation(Hello, Sense8!) but is there a requirement now that every movie, or every big movie, include non hetero characters, just because?
Talk about spoilers - I'm scrolling down on the IMDb homepage(I want to see whose birthday it is - turns out, 3 people I like, Ellie Kemper, The Rock, and Christine Baranski) and there it is: a picture of dead Jon opening his eyes for their Snapshot section.
