Bros aren’t buying this. It’s for nerds that don’t know any better (CVT time!), or for the 22 year old (living in a multi-family house) that absolutely wants to buy a Japanese performance car but has to take siblings to and from school, and run chores for live-in grandparents.

Explain to me why I should buy this over a Fiesta ST with more power and likely better handling, all for $5k less?

Disappointing. 188 hp? Come on Nissan. The good ol Sentra spec V had 175 well over a decade ago. There are so many great cars in the $20-25k area and this just doesn’t cut it. For a second there I thought this was a NP or CP article :)

Heck, would anyone buy this over a manual Mazda3 with the 2.5? Similar price, more power, better fuel economy, and a way nicer interior.
