This week I came back to “Breath of the Wild”. That happens every few months and then I’m addicted for a long time until the next pause. It’s still my first (and probably only) playthrough, which started at the end of 2017. The clock counts 175 hours in and I just finished the last titan. Now I continue with more

One star for that alternate name, which is stupid enough to hit my kind of humor and put a smile on my face. Good day, Sir.

I enjoyed much of my gaming life of the 90s and the early 2000s with the Game Boy-Bunch (Classic, Color and Advance).

The ones I have the fondest memories of are of course The Legend of Zelda - Link’s Awakening, but also the underappreciated masterpiece that is Wario Land II, Donkey Kong Land 2 and 3, Castlevania -

“Link’s Awakening” is probably my favorite “Zelda” of them all and was always the game I wanted to see remade... as a full 3D-reimagening to explore “Cocolint” much deeper than it was possible in the original. Now my dreams of such a game are shattered with the announced “remake”, which I find pretty lazy. It’s just

I agree with “Aria of Sorrow” being better than “Symphony of the Night”, but I disagree with Rontanamo’s opinion of it being the best portable “Castlevania”. That honor goes to “Order of Ecclesia”, which is also the best “Castlevania”, period. That I will claim at every opportunity. ^^

Now, I’m really eager to know how they pronounce “Johannes”. ^^ I will find out. That must be the first game where a character has my name. Good thing this is a must-play for me.

I guess you’re thinking of “Portrait of Ruin”. That’s the only one of the “Metroidvanias” I haven’t finished. That one has one castle and a handful of smaller levels you can enter through paintings in there, like the pyramid, mentioned by you.

Working on my second real attempt to beat “Bloodborne”, after I bought it at release back in 2015 and now I can’t even kill the “Cleric Beast”, my first boss-encounter. ^^ To proud to grind or get help from other players, so I’m prepared for “Sekiro”. Yesterday I was frustrated. Now I’m weirdly motivated to destroy tha

Oh, so you haven’t played “Order of Ecclesia”, yet? Because that game is hard as nails. Aaaaand, It’s also the best "Castlevania"-game of all time.

I really read that with a silent internal voice with a secretive tone. ^^

Cool to read that somebody is giving some old games a little love and dedication. Second Sight really has a good, pretty unpredictable story. Enjoy!

Both seasons belong among the best Animes ever created and are a proof of Kenji Kamiyamas genious. His work is hit and miss, though. While Guardian of the Spirit might be an even greater masterpiece (and extremely underappreciated - imagine The Seven Samurai would be a hidden gem) the movie follow-up Solid State

You just sold one more copy of the game. This example is even more convincing than Kirk's great review. Rockstar should thank you.

Oh, boy! Other people do this, too?! Here's your star.

I see what you did there. ^^ Here's your star.

Have you played Donkey Kong Country - Tropical Freeze, aka THE best 2D-platformer of all time? I’m serious. But I agree with you on Rayman Legends being a genre-masterpiece and a close second place.

I got myself a Switch with Breath of the Wild last monday. It’s addicting like nearly every other Zelda, but maybe 100 times bigger. So my social life is pretty doomed. Actually, it’s so addicting and time consuming that I’m generally afraid to start it, because I know that I won’t get enough food, sleep and personal

Still playing Shadow Tactics - Blades of the Shogun on PS4. One of the rare cases (ever) in which the demo immediately convinced me to buy the full game. It’s so well-crafted and polished, it almost feels like a Nintendo-game.
