I thought this same exact thing......death has some unfinished business with this poor guy!

Agreed, I don’t see what the debate is here. Nice Price. Would you try and knock the guy down a bit.....sure, but $15k is more than reasonable given all the details here.
This is spot on. The way Disco handled Ariam’s death last season was insulting. No info on her at all, then suddenly cram her backstory into the same episode she dies, all in an effort to manipulate the audience into maybe feeling sad when she’s airlocked....seriously pathetic.
This 100%. A quick search of Ohio craigslist shows a variety of running/driving mid-2000s Grand Caravans, Subaru Outbacks, Ford Focuses, Ford Escapes, Chevy Impalas, Chevy Trailblazers, etc.... for right around $2,000. Any one of these will be a better and more modern vehicle for use as a cheap beater.
No Dice here. I know $2,350 is “why not” money, but when it comes to a Buick Century my question is “why would you?” The Century is the Buick on a budget, the ultimate in “meh” cars, no amount of wood paneling or station wagon can change that for me.
I don’t understand why Data had to die.....again. They could have put Data in the golem and cured Picard’s syndrome with the synthetic tech Riker/Troi talked about for Thad. Its not as if Data was thousands of years old, he still had plenty to experience and figure out, makes no sense to me that he was tired and ready…
Lower Decks s1 was up and down for me, but this finale was definitely a high note. Good pacing, great plot, smart writing, and FINALLY we see the Titan on screen. Really well done!
I think s1 of Lower Decks has been a mixed bag...but they knocked this finale out of the park! Great plot, good pacing, smart dialogue, and legit funny moments. Fantastic episode. Finally seeing the Titan on screen was awesome, and Frakes/Sirtis slipped back into character so well (with more to come in s2 apparently).
I’m a sucker for quad exhaust tips, if the CT5-V’s tips pictured above are real then those are the business!
I haven’t been a huge fan of Cadillac over the past decade, but saw the CT5-V at the auto show last February (ah, the pre-COVID days....well, kinda) and thought it was REALLY sharp. Appropriately modern and aggressive while still having a good bit of subtlety. Offering it with a tried and true V8 under the hood would…
Good question. I’ve had my 2012 Volvo s60 T6 for five years now (the inline-6 turbo) and it has been reliable, but not perfect. Nothing major, just ancillary things that have needed attention (front suspension, airbag module, oil trap, transmission software, etc...). Luckily it was a CPO car so a lot of it got fixed…
This episode was a low point for me so far on the series, the Fletcher character was exhausting to watch, hopefully this is the last we see of him.
Seriously......this seems like all fluff. Similar to his comments about the troops or claims that he’s a racist. While awful to think that our president holds these views, its largely inconsequential in the grand scheme of things.
Agreed 100%. I worked at a Chrysler dealer in the late 90s/early 2000s and for the time they were making a nice variety of pretty sweet cars/trucks. Granted, at least here in Ohio, not many of them have survived to 2020, with the exception of some Cherokees/Grand Cherokees and the oddball rusted out Dodge Ram.
Came here to say this, was surprised Clavey didn’t mention it in the above article . What Hoovie and the Car Wizard did to that purple Prowler made me think differently about those cars....I believe their only modifications were a tune, exhaust, and gearing change which apparently can all be accomplished in about half…
I’m on board 100% too. In 2020 this is a unique car, and the 5-speed/V6 option makes it a certified unicorn. And it looks like a CLEAN unicorn!
Exactly. And its one thing when they trot out someone to sell that scam who comes across as at least half-way competent. Its scary to think that millions of Americans watched Don Jr and thought “yep, this is a smart and genuine man who is a true patriot.”
Need to know if “Treetop Flyer” by Steven Stills was playing in the cockpit as the pilot pulled this off.....
Yes! I caught that great bird reference too, was a really nice touch.
Accord coupes would STILL be flying off the assembly line in 2020 had they simply been equipped with whitewall tires like Soichiro Honda intended!
