Dang sorry about your GTO, tough way to lose it, the Torrid Red is a slick color especially when you have some black to break it up. What did you replace it with?

At least Jeep had the good sense to knock it off with the funky headlights after a few years. I think the current Cherokee is actually a really good looking vehicle now, especially in Trailhawk guise. Now I would never buy one as from what I understand the rest of Cherokee is hot garbage, but appearance-wise I think…
Oh wait a minute, I misunderstood, thought it was referring to first-gear feeling locked out when trying to shift back into first from neutral...I’ve gotten that from time to time, just put it back into neutral, let the clutch out, and try again, I’ve never had first gear not fully engage like that in my GTO or my…
I’d never heard of the “first gear kick-out” term before, apparently it refers to issues getting the car back into first gear when sitting at a stoplight, and yeah I’ve had that happen periodically, annoying for sure, but helps remind me to keep paying attention even while sitting at a red light.....so maybe its more…
The M12 in my GTO isn’t bad once it warms up for about 10 minutes, and I’ve never had it grind or pop out of gear when cold, it just doesn’t feel happy, so I take it easy for the first few miles. Running recommended GM fluid in it and I bleed my clutch probably once a year, I remember my 1998 Z28 being the same way.…
To be fair aren’t all manual transmissions pretty clunky until the car warms up?
You would think law enforcement has plans in place regarding how to handle different aspects of protests, and that after Charlottesville you hope those plans include how to neutralize possible threats involving vehicles.
Aren’t there better and less destructive ways to immobilize these vehicles though? For example, maybe use some parking boots to make sure the cars stayed in place.....I imagine those are readily available from the parking enforcement department.
Exactly. This is right in line with their “better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6" logic that police love to use when they go into shoot first ask questions later mode.
Disagree. If this were a Buick Century of similar age/miles then yes, no real value. But I think these Regal GS cars were special, primarily due to the supercharged 3800, and still have a fan-base. In my opinion the $5,500 is right in the range of “pay this because good luck finding another one this clean” money.
Dang, yeah I think I’d rather deal with no overdrive!
This is a NP for somebody. Incredibly low miles for one of these, and so long as it hasn’t seen salt the body should be good (rocker panels were notorious for disintegrating on this era of W-Body cars)
And here I thought nothing could ever be uglier than the 2019 Camaro SS grille.....I stand corrected BMW!
Kia Forte GT is the first car I would go test-drive if I was looking for a sub-$400/month payment and didn’t need a TON of room. Really sharp car, positive reviews, all of the fun of an Elantra GT before Hyundai up and ruined the looks!
Excellent point! And as an added bonus, I gotta believe it would give that person the title of “Only individual in the history of this planet to learn how to drive stick on a Taurus wagon”
Wagons SHO!!! The only way this isn’t a NP is if you can’t drive stick.
Yeah this one is not hard, $2k is throwaway money here. Appears to be a mostly well-sorted project car that runs and drives while being rust free. Nice price for anyone who can turn a wrench and wants something unique for Radwood.
Was a long time ago, but I don’t remember it being that painful, I recall the toughest thing might have been getting all the vacuum lines hooked back up correctly. And yes, the extra 30+ horsepower made a huge difference!
Had experience with these cars back in the early 2000s, did not one but two engine swaps to the bigger 2.5liter Probe/MX-6 V6 (KZLE??? I forget....). Good times!!
Nice price! For a $3k car this thing is pretty well sorted. I really like the way this generation of Outback looks, even with the hood-scoop it still has a clean and understated vibe to it, especially compared to the “barely not an SUV” wagons we get today. I’ve been lurking on Craiglist looking for a third vehicle to…
