I have a similar story about a friend’s brother having one of these, his was a 1996, bought brand new with a 5-speed. He’d let us take it for a spin every now and then (bless his soul), was a ton of fun to drive, especially for a couple kids in high school. I also test-drove a 5-speed Mazda MX-6 of the same vintage,

I don’t think it’s a coincidence that last week’s episode was one of Disco’s best...and it consisted of precisely zero Ash Tyler

After a great episode last week, Discovery took a giant leap backwards here.  The whole episode just felt very hastily and haphazardly constructed, which is odd considering how slowly the show built up the red angel arc all season.

Took my drivers test in Neon coupe back in 1998 after having failed the stupid maneuverability test in my parents’ Bonneville (ugh). Fun little car and was a cinch to move between those cones!

Its funny how kid killing might not have made it past the AMC censors....and yet the viewers getting to see Glenn’s eye-ball dislodged courtesy of Lucille was all kosher!

Interesting piece for the local car show, looks like it was well put together, bet you’d get a TON of compliments on it just driving around, no way its worth more than $10k.

Watched the episode a second time....Airiam is laying a beat-down on Burnham, Nhan is suffocating on the ground, and Pike is back on Discovery thinkin “oooooh, cat-fight!!” Granted, the fight scene is VERY well done, but Burnham and Nhan could have very easily been killed for no good reason. They already know about

Yeah, I mean you could be right, but it seemed like she was really only able to do damage when she had access to a computer station.....granted she seemed to be quite a handful from a physical strength standpoint, so maybe restraining her is easier said than done. Could they have “turned her off” though and tried to

Or they cover it all in one episode.....instead of Lower Decks it could be, ummmmm, Upper Decks??

I get that (and actually Orville does it too, lol).  My point is she is a Commander and a fixture on the bridge, yet we knew almost nothing about her until today.  That seems crazy to me.

It seemed like Airiam was alive floating there in space for at least a few seconds....why didn’t they try to beam her back aboard Disco in an attempt to save her?? Given she is at least partially a machine (I’d guess mostly machine) one would think she’d handle exposure to space better than your average human.

This was a good episode, but even when Discovery is good it manages to tick me off. Turns out Commander Airiam (Commander??!!) was a really interesting character who we knew next to nothing about until today, when Disco decided to ram-rod her backstory down our throats. It was so cool to finally get some kind of slice

Overall another really solid episode. I don’t think it can be overstated how much better this writing and pacing is compared to what we were getting back in the throes of the Negan and Lucille days. Things aren’t perfect of course, but this is very watchable television.

Nice!  That is a gorgeous car General, hope it continues to be rock-solid for many many years.

This is very unfortunate.  Ultimately its not the 35th anniversary Camaro for $17k that’s the crack-pipe. Its THIS 35th anniversary Camaro for $17k that’s the crack-pipe.

I’m skeptical too of the twin-charged 4. Sometimes I wonder if Volvo would have been better off finding a way to tweak the old 3.0 liter inline 6 turbo a bit. As I’ve said on numerous occasions that is a sweet motor. Time will tell though, maybe these twin-charged engines will end up going 200k miles or more with

I think in honor of the name-plate returning Chevy should recreate this very same photo using the 2019 Blazer.....that’d be funny!

My only experience with the Quad 4 came in the late 1990s, a buddy in high school had the SOHC version in his Achieva S coupe.....ran fine but there was nothing “performance” about it. My ‘89 Cavalier Z24 and its venerable 2.8L V6 put bus-lengths on it during our zero to 60 rompsProbably would have been a different

I think Volvo is the answer here. The c30 is sweet. Personally if I were this guy I’d find a 2012 and up s60 or v60 in either T6 or R-Design trim. Fast, comfortable, and slightly quirky. The inline 6 turbo and 6-speed aisin auto trans have proven to be a relatively bulletproof combo.

Every episode of this show feels like it moves at warp 9, but with a drunk Ensign Crusher at the helm. Except for the Beta Quadrant episode (which I had hoped would be a turning point) Disco never seems to give the audience a chance to relax and simply immerse themselves in Star Trek for a minute or two.  The show is
